KB Home offers pre-wired homes for electric car owners

Gee, I wouldn't think that this is brain surgery. All you need is a 220V outlet in the garage. You would eventually have to have the right end to match you vehicle, but that is a self install..

It probably won't work. KB Home used to be called Kaufman and Broad and build HUGE numbers of tract houses in the 80's. I bought one and it was a piece of crap. Their name became tarnished enough that they had to change it to KB.

If they wire them for Al Gore's Internet, then they'll have everything except a solar panel or wind generator. That fits in perfectly in the state of Pelosi and the Eco-Nazis.

They are doing whatever they can to make a buck before the electric car fad wears off. Not to mention the coming economic collapse. Then no one will be buying anything. Hang on to your money and get ready for a long haul.

I've got an outside outlet, but it's only 110. but still would need about 750 ft of cord
and worry about snow removal cutting it into pieces

Well something like that can be retrofitted into most any home or garage and we'll probably see a lot of that in the near future.
